Online presentations are provided to accommodate participants who are unable to attend the conference in person. To maintain the same academic rigor and professionalism as on-site sessions, all online presenters are required to strictly adhere to the guidelines outlined below.
1. Eligibility & Participation Expectations
- Online presentation slots are granted only upon approval by the organizing committee.
- Online presenters are expected to be available for their entire assigned session, including live Q&A.
- Where possible, online presenters are encouraged to attend other conference sessions virtually to engage with the scientific program.
- If a presenter is unable to attend their scheduled session, prior written notification must be provided.
Important: Online presentations are considered part of the official
scientific program and are subject to the same standards as in-person presentations.
2. Presentation Format & Time Allocation
- Each online presentation is strictly limited to a total of 20 minutes.

- 15 minutes for presentation
- 5 minutes for live questions and discussion
- Session chairs will strictly enforce time limits to ensure fairness to all presenters.
- Presenters must be prepared to respond to questions live at the end of their presentation.
Time Discipline: Exceeding the allocated time may result in
session interruption by the chair.
3. Technical Requirements & Connectivity
- Presenters must ensure a stable internet connection, functional microphone, and webcam.
- Presentations must be delivered from a quiet, professional environment with minimal background noise.
- Presenters should log in to the virtual platform at least 20 minutes before their scheduled session.
- Backup presentation files should be available in case of connectivity issues.
Technical Responsibility
- Internet connectivity is the presenter’s responsibility
- Test audio/video in advance
- Keep slides ready in PDF or PPT format
- Have a backup device where possible
4. Awards & Evaluation (Online Presenters)
Online presenters may be considered for awards only if explicitly stated in the award category description for a given conference.
- Eligibility for awards is subject to the specific award guidelines.
- Evaluation criteria include presentation clarity, scientific merit, and effective communication during Q&A.
- Physical attendance-based awards may not apply to online presenters.
Note: Award reimbursement benefits generally apply to
in-person presenters unless otherwise specified in the conference announcement.
