WCEES 2026 Awards Program

The 15th World Congress on Environmental & Earth Sciences (WCEES 2026), organized by Conferences Global, recognizes exceptional scientific contributions through a structured awards program. These awards encourage research excellence, innovation, and early-career leadership across environmental science, geoscience, climate research, hydrology, remote sensing, and sustainability.

Typical Awards at WCEES 2026: Up to 9 awards may be presented (Best Oral + Best Poster + Young Researchers). The final number and categories may vary based on the scientific program and sponsor support.

Section 1: Award Categories & Benefits

WCEES 2026 offers three primary award categories, typically with up to three winners per category. Awardees are formally recognized during the conference awards ceremony and receive a Certificate of Excellence. Where applicable, additional sponsor-supported benefits may be included and will be communicated officially.

Best Oral Awards

Best Oral Presentation (up to 3 Awards)

For exceptional oral delivery, scientific clarity, and meaningful contribution to environmental & earth sciences.

Best Poster Awards

Best Poster Presentation (up to 3 Awards)

Young Researchers Awards

Young Researchers Forum (up to 3 Awards)

For early-career researchers demonstrating innovation and high potential for future leadership.

  • Future research direction and potential
What winners may receive (where applicable): formal felicitation, a Certificate of Excellence, and sponsor-supported reimbursements such as travel, accommodation, and registration costs. Benefits vary by conference and sponsor package. The final award benefits for WCEES 2026 will be announced on the official conference materials.

Reimbursement Note

Section 2: How to Apply (Eligibility & Required Documents)

Delegates presenting at WCEES 2026 may apply for awards during abstract submission or registration. Participation in the relevant category (oral/poster/young researchers) is required. All applications are evaluated by the Awards Panel appointed by the WCEES 2026 organizing committee.

Note: Some award categories may require a Department/University cover letter for verification. If requested, applications without the required supporting documents may not be evaluated.

Reimbursement Requirements (If Applicable)

Where reimbursements are offered, winners are typically required to submit:

  • Proof of conference participation/presentation
  • Original receipts/invoices for eligible travel and accommodation
  • Registration payment proof
  • Bank details for reimbursement processing

Section 3: General Award Rules & Conditions

The following general rules apply to the WCEES 2026 awards program, unless otherwise specified by the organizing committee.

  • Awards are competitive and are granted only where the Awards Panel determines that the quality of work meets the required standard.
  • The decision of the Awards Panel / judges is final. No appeal or correspondence will be entertained regarding rankings or outcomes.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to change, merge, or cancel award categories and/or adjust the number of awards depending on submissions and sponsor support.
  • Awards and related benefits are non-transferable and apply only to the named recipient. They cannot be exchanged for cash unless explicitly stated.
  • Where reimbursements are offered, payments are processed only after successful verification of documents and subject to sponsor/organizer approval timelines.
  • Any misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information may result in disqualification and cancellation of benefits.
  • By applying, participants agree that their names, affiliations, presentation titles, and photographs may be used in conference communications and reports.
  • Event-specific criteria (e.g., eligibility for young researcher awards) may apply. Where any conflict exists, the event-specific criteria will take precedence.
