Awardees are formally recognized during the conference awards ceremony and receive a Certificate of Excellence. Reimbursement Note

Section 3: General Award Rules & Conditions
The following general rules apply to the WCEES 2026 awards program, unless otherwise specified by the organizing committee.
- Awards are competitive and are granted only where the Awards Panel determines that the quality of work meets the required standard.
- The decision of the Awards Panel / judges is final. No appeal or correspondence will be entertained regarding rankings or outcomes.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to change, merge, or cancel award categories and/or adjust the number of awards depending on submissions and sponsor support.
- Awards and related benefits are non-transferable and apply only to the named recipient. They cannot be exchanged for cash unless explicitly stated.
- Where reimbursements are offered, payments are processed only after successful verification of documents and subject to sponsor/organizer approval timelines.
- Any misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information may result in disqualification and cancellation of benefits.
- By applying, participants agree that their names, affiliations, presentation titles, and photographs may be used in conference communications and reports.
- Event-specific criteria (e.g., eligibility for young researcher awards) may apply. Where any conflict exists, the event-specific criteria will take precedence.
